What We Do
Basement waterproofing companies have it wrong. Most basement water issues and foundation damage are not solved by dealing with the water from the inside of the house, it’s best managed at the exterior. We specialize in managing water before it causes a problem. Not only is this the right approach, it’s also substantially less expensive than basement French drains and sump pumps. Did you know there is an App where you can get a remote consultation from an engineer about drainage issues? It’s called The House Engineer and it’s available for the iPhone and Android. We use it for our projects because there is no substitute for an engineering opinion on a critical house issue.

Exterior Drainage
Poor drainage is the leading cause of foundation problems. We work with engineers to provide smart, cost-effective management of water to prevent damage to your foundation. Don’t spend tens of thousands of dollars on expensive interior French drain systems and sump pumps when managing water before it reaches your foundation is what engineers recommend.

Exterior Grading
When was the last time you walked around your house during a rain storm? Do you have sitting water? Is your yard sloped away from your house? Part of smart foundation management is keeping water away from your house. Maintaining proper ground slope is essential. Without proper ground slope near the house, water can seep through cracks. Prolonged neglect weakens soils causing foundation movement. Let us correct these issues.

Foundation Crack Sealing
Although our philosophy is to stop the water before it causes problems, sealing foundation cracks is a sensible defense tactic. Keep the water away. Keep the water out.

The Foundation Management Process
01
Site Visit
Do you have a foundation crack? Are your basement walls discolored or moldy? During our initial site visit, we collect measurements and data that we send to an engineer for review distinguishing our proposed solutions from other providers. Our proposal is delivered within 5 business days of the site visit.
02
Project Installation
Once you accept our proposal and agree to the terms, we provide you with a project schedule. We will keep to our schedule, and if weather is a problem and a revision is needed, you will be informed.
03
Completion and Certification
Upon completion of the project, we submit details to our engineer partner for review and you receive an engineering certification of the installation.
