Foundation management and drainage, llc
Services
Downspout Extensions: Whether they are surface extensions or buried extensions, keep the water away from your foundation. Our buried pipes are sometimes dug by hand, or with our Bobcat E10 excavator for larger projects.
Exterior Grading: The ground should slope away from the house for at least 5′ to 10′. For small projects we regrade using hand tools. If the job requires it, we use our Bobcat E10 excavator. We also improve grading around hills, retaining walls, and other yard conditions that require it.
Exterior French Drains and Catch Basins: The French drain was invented by the American Henry French, a mid-19th century agriculturist. Mr. French knew how to dry out soggy corn fields. The same concept is a lifesaver for residential houses. The French drain comes in a few varieties, but the most common is a buried perforated pipe wrapped in a filter fabric. The French drain is the unsung hero of quality water management.
Foundation and Slab Crack Repairs: We try to keep the water away from the foundation before it slips through foundation cracks but sealing cracks is a good idea, so we offer that too. Depending on the foundation type, we use epoxy injection, polyurethane injection, mortar, or hydraulic cement to fill foundation cracks. We defer to our partner engineers at ASA Engineering Group, LLC for the best solution for filling cracks.
